Symbols have long been used in common practices to focus busy minds. Examples include the mandala, an intricate circular pattern that represents unity.  It is the Sanskrit symbol for om, a mantra used in meditation. Combining these symbols with artwork can double the mental health benefits. When you are drawing, especially if you're not an artist, feelings come out on paper that you didn't expect. Research shows that 20 minutes of coloring mandala like designs reduces stress and can induce a near- meditative state. Everyone participating keeps their mandala creation. So calm your mind and break out your creativity by filling in these intricate patterns. All materials provided by presenter. 6:30-8:30 Cost $35 or $30 by 5/15
